Question #1...
we watched a video about the Antarctic and it talked about "distortion of the senses" which were "mirage like illusions" It was a very common thing to happen to the early explorers....such as Robert Falcon Scott and his team who thought they saw St. Paul's Cathedral. Did you guys study this and is this something you have to think about?

Are you going to do any diving as part of your research? Maybe to watch the seals under water?

we finished the puzzle...we think maybe sophia was in the puzzle as sohhia....and after staring at the page until we experienced ""distortion of the senses" we still can't see the "hidden message"!!!

How do the seals make their holes...do they dig them with their claws only or do they bite the ice too?
What do you guys do if you have to go to the bathroom and you are way out on the ice?
Is it hard to sleep at night when it doesn't get dark?
Where to the seals sleep?
Annnnd....we double dare you to stick your tongue on the side of the helicopter...ha ha ha ha!!!
